DAY 1 : Frankfurt - Rothenburg Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive to Würzburg. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany’s well-preserved "Jewel of the Middle Ages" with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church). Upon arrival in Rothenburg, a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon or evening, join the city walk with a local guide or the historic Night Watchman in Rothenburg. Overnight.

DAY 2 : Rothenburg - Augsburg After breakfast, a taxi will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bus stop. Your coach drives along the Romantic Road passing such picturesque places as Dinkelsbühl, Nördlingen and Donauwörth, with high-gabled houses and cobbled-stone streets. Arrival at Augsburg in the early afternoon. Overnight.

DAY 3: Augsburg - Munich After breakfast, go on a city tour, starting at the City Hall. You will get to know all important sights of Augsburg, famous for old trading dynasties (the Fuggers). In the late afternoon, board the coach to Munich. Overnight.

DAY 4: Munich - Zugspitze - Munich In the morning, take the train from Munich train station to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From there you take a cable car up to Germany’s highest peak. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the Zugspitze. In the afternoon return to Munich by train. Overnight.
