Day 1 : Frankfurt - Rothenburg

Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the Spessart mountains to Würzburg, on the banks of the river Main. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germanys well-preserved "Jewel of the Middle Ages" with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church). Upon arrival in Rothenburg, a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon or evening, join the city walk with a local guide or the historic Night Watchman in Rothenburg. Overnight in Rothenburg.

Day 2 : Rothenburg - Augsburg

After breakfast, a taxi will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bus stop. Your coach drives along the Romantic Road passing such picturesque places such as Dinkelsbühl, Nördlingen and Donauwörth, with high-gabled houses and cobbled-stone streets. Reach Augsburg in the early afternoon & spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Augsburg.

Day 3 : Augsburg - Munich

After breakfast, go on a city tour, starting at the City Hall. You will get to know all important sights of Augsburg, famous for old trading dynasties (the Fuggers). In the late afternoon, you board the coach to Munich. Overnight in Munich.

Day 4 : Munich - Zugspitze - Munich

In the morning, take the train from Munich train station to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From there you take a cable car up to Germanys highest peak. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the Zugspitze. In the afternoon return to Munich by train. Overnight in Munich.

Day 5 : Munich

The tour ends with breakfast.
